Character Ed with Inch and Miles

I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE the book "Inch and Miles: The Journey to Success" by Coach John Wooden.  It is a great story with adorable characters that teaches children how to be "their personal best".  In the story, Inch and Miles take a journey looking for clues to the pyramid and they encounter endearing characters who help them along.

I always read this with my kiddos at the beginning of the year but felt I needed to dive in to it a bit more.  Soooooo, I created some book companion resources - these have turned out be one of my best sellers on TPT so I am assuming that many other teachers felt the same way!

My students love writing in their Character Journals each week and earning Inch and Miles themed brag tags (which they wear on Fridays).  Additionally, we have the pyramid (shown above) posted in the class and refer to it often - especially the "self control" block!
